Knimbus provides an easy way to reference your digital library. You can search and discover relevant resources like ebooks, journals, articles and conference proceedings. You can access these resources whether on-campus or off-campus.

Knimbus provides various methods for users to register themselves on the portal. Based on the settings that have been enabled by the Librarian on your eLibrary, you will be able to register yourself.

Self-Registration

Steps to follow when the Admin enables the self-registration for your library,

  • Click on Sign-in button at the top right end of your knimbus library page
  • Once the Sign in screen appears, click on Sign-up link below the page

  • Enter your user details- Full Name and email and your chosen password.
  • Click on Continue. This will “register” you as a user on the platform
  • For OCA requests you will have to fill in the mandatory fields and raise the request to the Librarian admin.

Two Factor Authentication

Knimbus also supports Two factor Authentication as an additional mechanism for safe logins. For Libraries that have turned on two-factor authentication as a feature, an OTP will be sent to the registered user email ID, which needs to be added on the input box to have access to the platform both during sign-up and sign in processes. On successful verification, the user will be able to access the Knimbus portal.
